The band formed in January of 2002 with guitarist and vocalist Andrew Woodward and drummer David Grimm. After several unsuccessful searches for a committed bassist, Adam Leeper joined the band in late March. Finally, the band searched for a second guitarist to round out the group and found Geoff Brent in July.
